Aim: To show the church is an integral part of God's eternal plan.

 

1. Don't you love it when a plan comes together?

2. Before Jesus ascended into heaven, he commissioned the apostles: Mark 16:15-16, Matthew 28:19-20.

  • Generally when we look at this passage, we see two things.

  • Paul makes a profound statement about the church. The church is the ______ of him who fills all in all.
  • Paul is telling us that Jesus' _________, His _______, was not complete, was not full, until the church came into existence. That my friends is a profound thought.
• Indeed, the church is an _______ part of God's eternal purpose. His plan to save man, to facilitate man's relationship to God and others of the saved community.
