The Casual Crowd
John 6:22-35

Ecclesiastes 12:9-11, “Not only was the Preacher wise, but also he imparted knowledge to the people. Weighing and studying and arranging many proverbs with great care. The Preacher searched to find just the right words, and what he wrote was upright and true. The words of the wise are like goads and like nails firmly fixed are the collected sayings: they are given by one Shepherd.”
1. The crowd seeks Jesus for what he can give them v.25-26
2. The crowd satisfies their physical appetite more than their spiritual need v.27
3. The crowd supposes they can contribute to their salvation v.28-29
4. The crowd selfishly wants Jesus to prove himself v.30-35
