Purpose In Waiting

Think of Joseph in Genesis. Thrown into a pit, sold into slavery, and imprisoned unjustly, he spent years waiting. But God was with him through it all, shaping a leader who would one day save a nation. Waiting taught Joseph humility, resilience, and wisdom. In our homes, waiting might look like trusting God to change a spouse's heart, guide a wandering child, or bring unity where there’s division. The key is to wait with hope, knowing God is working even when we can’t see it.
