Market Close 12 Oct 22: ASX 200 finishes flat in choppy trade

The Australian sharemarket gave back all its gains to finish flat on Wednesday after three straight sessions of losses. Energy and mining stocks weighed as the US dollar strengthened and commodities fell. Bank of Queensland rose most after handing down its full year results.
