Aussie shares are surging higher as the holiday shortened week kicks off, with the ASX 200 lifting by 2.3 per cent at lunch. Gains have followed a strong uplift on Wall Street as optimism continues to swell on economies reopening. Local gains have been broad based with financials the standout while healthcare and tech are lagging behind.
