US Close 19 Sept 16: US lower on Friday, Deutsche Bank & tech stocks in focus

US sharemarkets eased on Friday. Just as in Europe, the Department of Justice case against Deutsche Bank weighed on the banking sector. Deutsche Bank's US shares fell by 9.4%. Shares in Intel rose 3% to a 15-year high after the chipmaker raised its third-quarter revenue forecast. The Dow Jones index fell by almost 89 points or 0.5% with the S&P 500 index lower by 0.4% while the Nasdaq lost 5 points or 0.1%. Over the week the Dow Jones rose by 0.2% with the S&P 500 index up 0.5% while the Nasdaq gained 2.3%.
