He has only been in the job for seven years but it seems as if Kent Sovern has been the State Director of AARP-Iowa for decades. Kent has had a mighty impact on the transformation of the organization and you can hear it in his voice. Here we talk about so many things on his mind...voting and getting involved in the topics voters care about. He offers up some strong words for politicians who offer only "bumper sticker" answers to serious questions. We talk health care, care-givers, hunger and so much more.
