Days of our Lives sees Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) discovers that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) had a steamy encounter with Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins). Johnny deals with guilt after his tryst with Joy, while the latter fears the fallout of their indiscretion on the NBC Peacock soap opera.

DOOL sees Joy almost reveals her secret to Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and later does so to Alex. He is torn between his loyalty to Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), Johnny's wife, and his dislike for the workplace drama stirred by Johnny's assumptions. A spoiler suggests that Johnny's secret might be disclosed to Chanel by either Alex or Johnny himself.
