HTWDT Episode 29: Suspiria (1977) and Weapons (2025)

What we have here is a supersized version of witchery, just in time for the Halloween season. We start off with a classic, Dario Argento's (1977) Suspiria. It's obvious from the fake Italian accent enthusiasm that the boys enjoy this one! There's lots to unpack in this arthouse horror gem, including some interesting behind the scenes tech about the film and the soundtrack. We follow that up with the brand new Zach Cregger film Weapons (2025) which Mike happened to work on. So there are lots of behind the scenes tidbits and discussions on the makeup fx. There's so much in this episode we left it long and still cut stuff out that will come to Patreon later. So grab your ingredients and heat up your cauldrons, it's time to get into this witch.
