The Healing Touch of Christ

A homily for the Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year B), by Father David Kruse: Our Lord comes to us today in Mass to heal us – just as truly as he came to Peter’s home to heal his mother-in-law and the sick of Capernaum two thousand years ago. Why do we come to Mass? To follow a routine, or to encounter the healing only Christ can give?
