Maya Preisler joins the Fiction Addiction podcast and discusses her journey as an author and drops several tips for aspiring authors.
Guest Bio
Maya Preisler has been creating art and telling stories since she was old enough to hold a pen. Her art has been featured on convention badges and book covers and at various art shows throughout the Southeast. Despite writing and illustrating her first science fiction story at age eight and being published in her high school literary magazine, she has been unwilling to call herself a writer until recently, when she published her first novel: The Laws of Entanglement. She currently works as the social media and marketing person for Mocha Memoirs Press, a local micro press whose mission is to amplify marginalized voices in speculative fiction. When she’s not creating art or writing, she can be found gaming or working on her next cosplay. She can be found online at www.mayarenee.com.
