Janet Houdek was 60 years old, newly widowed, and living alone with her dog when she was shot twice, execution style, in the back of the head. The killers also shot her dog. No money or belongings were taken, and investigators were stumped.

Police soon learned that a camera had been set up across the street from Janet’s house to monitor her next-door neighbor’s potential drug activity…but it was recently taken down. Historical video revealed the neighbor as a cash stash house run by Chapo Guzman, aka “El Chapo,” the former drug lord and leader of the Sinaloa Cartel.
