Did you know that Woodrow Wilson signed the act that created the National Park Service on August 25, 1916 but that Yellowstone became the first National Park with an act signed by Ulysses S Grant on March 1, 1872. The service employees employees around 20,000 and has about 280,000 volunteers and last year had almost 300 million visitors?
