Market Close 9 September 19: Shares edge higher on quiet day of trade

It was a quiet start to the new week for the Aussie market as it struggled to build any meaningful improvements on Monday. The ASX 200 just managed to remain in positive territory after a softer start, closing less than a point higher at 6648. Gains for financials were offset by losses for miners and health stocks.
