Hope Was Born

While the people of Bethlehem slept, there was a young woman, ten months pregnant, resting in a stable. She had arrived earlier that day with her husband and found that there was no room in any of the inns for them to stay. They’d come to be part of an ordered census from the Roman governor. And while the little town slumbered away that night, Mary labored and had her son, and she named Him Jesus, just as the angel had told her. He was born to save His people from their sins. And today, over two thousand years later, He’s still working a miracle in those who place their trust in His death on the cross. Jesus lived the perfect life we that couldn’t and died the death we should have to save us from our sins.
