Market Close 9 Nov 21: ASX 200 hamstrung by falling banks, miners find favour in weaker market

The Australian sharemarket has finished a choppy session in negative territory. Losses in the Financial, Energy, Utilities, Telco, Consumer Staples and Industrials sectors outweighed gains in the Materials, IT, and Healthcare sectors. The ASX 200 (XJO) ended down 18 points or 0.2% to 7,434.
