Mid-Session 22 July 19: ASX 200 recovers from early weakness to be higher at lunch

Local shares were marked down in opening trade on Monday reflecting weakness on Wall Street at the weekend. Although by lunch, the Index had recovered to be marginally higher, having been down 15 points at session lows. Banks are mixed as a group, although iron ore miners are posting solid gains supported by firmer prices in recent days.
