Walking Safely on the Danger Trail

In Colossians 2. Paul’s concern for the Colossian Christians.    Paul gives a warning about enticements to sin and error (Paul records in verse 4) And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. …what is being said here…let me be frank as to what Paul is saying in our language today… “the smooth talkers”  The key word in the chapter: “Beware” (v.8) Beware  lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. …The world is full of enticements things that would distract from the word of God. The journey we are on, on in this world is just temporary. We must stay focused on the things above…
