With this being Good Friday, I wanted to speak about prayer. So often our prayer life can feel lacking in one way or another. As I was reading through the gospels at the accounts of Jesus praying in the Garden, I noticed something that I had never really paid attention to before.
Only John’s account gives a lot more detail about WHAT Jesus prayed while he was in the garden.
He prayed very specifically 3 things. Jesus modeled how we should pray yes, but He went deeper in the book of John.
Jesus probably felt a little overwhelmed himself as He was about to go to the cross.
He ran to the Father with His overwhelm and we can too.
Jesus modeled prayer even at the very end of his life on earth.
