On the Reality of Truth

A homily for the First Sunday of Lent (Year A), by Father Darrin Connall: God is the source and standard of truth. However, since we the Fall of Adam and Eve, humans have often attempted to make themselves the arbiters of their own “truths.” This relativism leads to disaster, and we resist it by observing the objective truth that comes from the Lord.
