US Pre Close Report 4 Dec 18: US advance on a thawing of trade tensions

US stocks advanced overnight in response to a thawing of trade tensions.The US and China agreed to a temporary 90-day halt in additional tariffs and hopes for a trade accord within the next three months. Whilst far from a permanent solution, the market has been embraced the progress on the ongoing trade dispute.
