On Palm Sunday Pastor Phil encourages us to take another look at the “Triumphal Entry” and see it not as a repudiation of a political kingdom of God, per se, but as a repudiation of the power politics of the Empire, and as a confrontation of his own people, who were buying into those same power politics and letting it corrupt their identity and practices as a people of God.
