Episode - 116.75 - ”Mini-Pod” - ”What’s Going On With Georgia’s New Voting Law?”

On this Episode of "Mini-Pod" Donald Wayne discusses some of the issues with the new voting law just passed in Georgia and signed into law by Gov. Kemp.  The new law has even "upset" President Biden".  Georgia voter rights groups have already decided to challenge the new law.  Some of the high points discussed are as follows:

• no soliciting votes in any manner to an elector, which includes offering campaign material, gifts, including water or food.
• new voter ID requirements
• limits the use of voter drop boxes
• limits how absentee ballots are mailed out
• requires ID to request absentee ballots

Some of the new requirements in the bill may be in response to the HR1 bill that was passed by the US House a few weeks ago but is still in the Senate. Donald Wayne adds some commentary on many of the issues regarding Georgia's new voting bill.....of course.
