“We don’t have to drink French wine” – Farage tells EP

The European Parliament has been holding a heated debate on Brexit this morning in Strasbourg. During the debate the chair of the Parliament’s biggest political group the EPP, told MEPs that the avoidance of a hard border in Ireland was going to be a key priority during the negotiations. And Nigel Farage, the former leader of UKIP accused the EU of behaving like the Mafia and gangsters. He slammed the EU for imposing tough Brexit negotiating conditions on the UK.
