Kate is a Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner and Residency Program Coordinator at the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System. She has a passion for writing and speaking on all things well-being – especially resilience, burnout, psychological safety, motivating learners, impostor syndrome, the inner critic, professional identity formation, and compassion in medicine.

Kate is a thrilled and enthusiastic mentor in a unique way that is there to listen and guide other learners along because she's been there! 

 

All 3 of us want to serve others and also have our first books as an Anthology book! It gave Melissa the confidence to write her own book, Going Rogue.

Kate loves to write and had a defining moment, shut down a part of her that she loved as a child. However, in 2022, speaking on stage about impostor syndrome someone approaches her and asks if she would consider teaching a class or perhaps write a book? Spoiler alert: Her next book is all about OVERCOMING SELF DOUBT. How do we build ourselves up vs. tear each other down.
