Market Close 15 Jan 20: Second successive record close for Aussie shares

The local sharemarket has closed at another record high with the ASX 200 just shy of 7,000pts for the first time ever. Gains were broad based with only consumer staples going in reverse. This comes ahead of the signing of a phase 1 trade deal by the US & China.
