Keeping The Royal Law of God

The royal law of God is to love our neighbor as ourselves. Love is rooted in the soil of a heart of faith in Jesus Christ, and it bears fruit in our relationships with people. In this passage James is showing how love removes partiality based on distinctions that do not matter in the kingdom of God. He is calling Christians and congregations to hold their faith in Jesus Christ with an attitude of honor and love for all. Text: James 2:1-13
