Father Thomas Koys is once again or as usual sitting in for Father Anthony Bush this Wednesday and as usual he has much to tell all of our loyal listeners today, one thing being the celebration recently remembering St. Clare since this week was it's feast day. Also, he wants to continue his discussion on the foundation of the United States from last week and the Religious Freedom involved in that development, with history as Father Koys favorite subject. Unfortunately on a rough note is the recent suicide of actor Robin Williams with the media talking about it a lot since it happened Monday, a terrible tragedy, but Father Koys says that we need/should learn from tragedy in order to find good by praying for him and his family, as well reminiscing about his career as an actor and comedian in films such as: Mrs. Doubtfire, Good Morning Vietnam, The Birdcage, and his TV show Mork & Mindy. With this tragedy in mind, Father Koys talks about other celebrities who tragically were lost to us, but with this in mind also brings up the idea of one taking their own life and relate toward things being discussed, including the holocaust going on in the Middle East. Father Koys also makes references on St Clare and Francis on these lines as well, leading to more in depth discussion dealing with these horrible tragedies, with more along the personal life of Robin Williams, suggesting or leading to possible causes to his suicide. He also uses these two Saints in terms of things going on in the world and with governments in the present time.
