- Get rid of distractions! Whenever you go on a hunt—whether it be deer, duck, quail, turkey, goose, hog, etc.—remember that part of the joy is the opportunity to get away from it all.
- With hunting numbers going down, particularly for minorities, check your prejudices. If people stubbornly hold fast to their preconceived notions regarding who they think should be out there hunting, the number of hunters will only continue to decline as intolerance rises.
