Ansell’s Half Year Result 25 Aug 20: Ansell (ANN) lifts profits on increased demand for protective equipment

Ansell (ANN), maker of protective gear and solutions, reported an overall improved performance in FY20. Sales lifted by 7.7%, or 9.3% in constant currency, to US$1.6 billion. Both EBIT and profit rose for the year. With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, ANN has several products highly sought after as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
