A few years back, Pam Savino and her husband decided to divorce. As she shares in her wonderful book, Soar, there was nothing "bad" happening, but the relationship was not working for either of them. The news left friends and family shocked as they were that picture postcard perfect family who "had it all" but they knew that it was the right choice for them. That is not to say that the divorce was not full of tough times, there were plenty, and Pam shares several stories that may sound very familiar to you such as telling the kids, dealing with the 'til death do us part issue and keeping the divorce a secret from everyone until the time was right. Pam's lessons on leaving behind the life that society and other people tell you is right, and stepping into your own authentic self, perhaps for the very first time, is the true path through the hard times ahead to a a happier and more fulfilled life!
