A homily for the Feast of the Holy Family (Year B), by Deacon Jim Kestell: The Holy Family willingly embraced the suffering that confronted them, from the humiliation of the stable to the horror of the Crucifixion. However, it was precisely by their exchange of God’s love for each other that they made this suffering redemptive and unleashed great joy.
