Wake Up Tri-Counties Bishop Hill Fence Project

Members of the Galva Rotary have partnered with the Kewanee Life Skills Re-Entry Center and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources for a public private partnership to repair the historic fence surrounding Bishop Hill Park. On Wake Up Tri-Counties on Wednesday, June 5th, Rotary Club members, Tim Black and Mike Massie joined Wake Up Tri-Counties to discuss the project, how it started, and how they are raising funds to complete this historic renovation. There is currently a GoFundMe campaign, linked here, and there will be a Trivia Night Fundraiser on June 22nd at the Kewanee Elks Club. Doors open at 6 PM and the cost is $100 per team. A silent auction and 50/50 drawing will be held that night as well. All money raised will go toward the building materials for the fence.
