Lois Hollis - Ridding yourself of Shame/Guilt

Lois Hollis RN, BSN, REV is a shame guilt educator, counselor, filmmaker, author who coined the word shame guilt. Lois has always been a trailblazer in the health field as she helped to develop one of the first Kidney Hemodialysis Units in the USA at Thomas Jefferson University and was part of the early Open Heart Surgery Team at the University of Maryland Hospital.

 

Today she stands out from the trauma healing profession as she shifts our opinion on one of the most taboo and universal subjects, shame and guilt.

 

She comes on the podcast to explain why shame guilt has led us to believe we are victims incapable of stellar lives, but also HOW to develop a Shame Guilt Detector that identifies and avoids the shame guilt lie.
