7/13/20 - The elect receive a complete and eternal salvation in Christ Jesus, but remain in the flesh to live out the remainder of their days. The work of sanctification begins at salvation and continues until the believer is perfected in the presence of Christ. It is sanctification, the bringing of the flesh into subjection of the new creature on the inside, that exhorts the elect to strive by the Grace of God within them to be more like Christ in this life.
