MAN’S UNIQUENESS NOT DUE TO THE EMERGENCE OR IMPLANTATION OF CONSCIOUSNESS

In the previous reading from the book "What is Man? Adam, alien or ape?" we saw that Man cannot be the product of random undirected evolutionary processes. But could the unique consciousness of our race be due to the emergence or implantation of human consciousness into an evolved animal? Again we are compelled to say no. Just as computers will never mimic the human mind without the advanced skills of  computer experts and designers, no undirected material cause can account for the mind of Man.
