US Close 16 Nov 18: Shares rebound on US-China trade hopes

The US sharemarket had a very volatile session with the Dow Jones experiencing a 566pt trading range. The market was hungry for some good news and reports the US and China could hold off the next round of tariffs for now ahead of the G20 summit was well received. Tech and bank stocks rose most. A number of UK government officials handing in their resignations however complicates Brexit negotiations.
