Real Hope and Peace for the Holidays | 11

In this episode, my husband, Fred joins me to discuss the original purpose of Christmas, and how Jesus came to redeem and reconcile us back to having a deep and meaningful relationship with our Creator. Jesus is the real hope in which we celebrate this season. He is how we can receive peace with God and His good will toward mankind, so we can then share His love with others. 

 

Too often, the holiday season gets commercialized, overtaken with obligatory demands, traditions, and expectations, and we can lose the real focus of Christmas and its purpose.

 

We discuss how to change our focus to be upon God’s original intention, which is “God with us”— Immanuel. Jesus is the gift God gave to allow us to have relationship with Him, as it was in the beginning, in the Garden of Eden.
