Food Fortification Initiative

Laura Rowe, the Deputy Director of the Food Fortification Initiative, is this episode’s guest, and she discusses the tremendous problem of lack of nutrients in the food supply of people living in African countries. Each year, malnutrition causes millions of deaths, birth defects and other health issues.
