Dimensions of the Spirit Part Eight: The gift of tongues

The gift of tongues is a supernatural ability, given by the Holy Spirit, enabling a believer to speak in a language they have not learned.

There are two primary expressions of the gift of tongues:

Personal Prayer Language: This form is used for personal edification and intimate communication with God.

Public Tongues with Interpretation: In a corporate setting, the gift of tongues can be accompanied by the gift of interpretation, providing a message for the congregation. When interpreted, it serves to edify and encourage the church.
