Episode # 1224 - Missing The Mass And Sacrifices Made

TGIM, for Monday today and starting another week, Summer is officially (even though it's been here for a while yes) around with the sun shinning, the hot weather and the sounds of the cicadas outside too.  Producer Nick points out he had a fun and busy weekend, with a date, garage sale, moving, and work too, but all is good.  Father Anthony shares how he witnessed a drone, that is a drone being the little robot military planes, flying around and was fascinated with it.  Since Gerri was at Mass this past few days, Father Anthony shares much on Mass in terms of those who attend and priests too.  He also shares more on John's Gospel Readings as well with this, which leads to talking about being "good Catholics" and going to Mass on Sunday's, as well as how missing Mass on Sunday is bad and the sacrifices we make, including due to not only things mentioned in the Bible, but sacrifices we make today for work and everything sometimes.    Father Anthony also points out that going to Mass on Sunday is in a way a kind of sacrifice, but not in the way you may be thinking, but related to our relationship with and worship of God.  Father Anthony also shares with us the 4 Ends To The Mass about the Mass: Atonement, Thanksgiving, Adiration, and Petition (as well as other words related to those here).  This leads to a final word on how the beliefs today have changed and how the world is with Mass today.
