S&P Futures are moving lower this morning as the latest tariff developments have markets on edge. Continuing changes in tariff policy is a negative factor for markets. President Trump announced that tariffs on Canada will be 35% effective August 1st. He also indicated that new tariffs on the European Union will be announced soon. A trade agreement with India remains in focus. Achieving trade deals with other nations has proven to be difficult for the Trump administration. Congress is set to vote on Crypto legislation next week. Air India investigators may release a preliminary report today. No major economic events are due out today. On the earnings front, LEVI is moving higher after an earnings beat last night.
