Sports Therapy Association Podcast
Health & Fitness
In this episode “Team GB Judo: massage For Recovery”, special guest Steve Miller (Grow Physio Academy) talks about the work he has recently done with Team GB Judo athletes, focussing on strategies for optimum recovery, including massage & manual therapy.
Steve discusses how although massage for recovery has traditionally not been particularly well utilised in the sport of Judo, when employed correctly it can play a hugely important role in sports performance, from elite right through to recreational. We also look at the Online & Face-To-Face Courses available on his website GrowPhysioAcademy.com, which incidentally attracts more Sports Therapists and Sports Rehab Specialists than Physios!
