In part two of his interview about bald and golden eagles, geoscientist and researcher Mike McTee of Missoula, Montana, talks with In Focus host Carolyn Hutcheson about how the use of lead bullets by game
hunters can have devastating effects on scavengers like eagles, that eat the remains.
Mike McTee's book is "Wilted Wings, A Hunter's Fight for Eagles." Lead bullet fragments from game meat can also get into the food chain and affect human intellectual development. State wildlife and conservation agencies are educating hunters about the use copper bullets as an
alternative to lead bullets. This interview was part of The Storyline book series.
