Gospel4You - It is Written - ’The Joy Of The Lord Is My Strength’

This week, we enter a new series- ' IT IS WRITTEN' These words are three words spoken by Christ Jesus when he was being tempted in the wilderness on at least three occasions before starting his public ministry.  

These words invoke - God's Word into action.  As Isaiah 55:11 says

It is the same with my word.
    I send it out, and it always produces fruit.
It will accomplish all I want it to,
    and it will prosper everywhere I send it.

In this Nehemiah 8:10 says 

Nehemiah 8:10

And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”

 

We think of Joy as a fruit of The Spirit.
