Chapter 10: Shaking

Chapter 10 of "Through the Looking-Glass" by Lewis Carroll is titled "Shaking." In this two-sentence chapter, Alice lifts the Red Queen off the table and "[shakes] her backward and forward with all her might." As she does so, the Red Queen becomes shorter, fatter, softer, and rounder.
