The Gospel Effect: Jesus’ Identity - Human

The Bible tells us that Jesus is one person consisting of two natures, fully divine and fully human. Both of these natures are necessary in order for Jesus’ completed work of salvation to be sufficient, suitable, and capable. Jesus is both 100% God and 100% human, at the same time, simultaneously. In fact, Jesus remains to this day both completely divine and completely human even in His post-resurrection state - as He sits at the right hand of the Father, as He holds the universe together, as He guides and directs His church, as He awaits His soon return – he is doing so as the God-Man. As well, it is within this post-resurrection state that he will remain for all of eternity yet to come. (Michael Boehm)
