Morning Report 2 Oct 19: Worst day in 5 weeks for U.S. stocks

The U.S. sharemarket tumbled by as much as 1.3% following data highlighting the weakest factory activity in a decade. 90% of American stocks fell while the Aussie market is set for a tumble on Wednesday.
