This week on It’s Your Ego—Stupid!, Dr. Nick will lay a foundation for you to gain a better understanding of ego, in general, and your ego energy, in particular. There will be 10 Ego Insights discussed which are intended to illuminate the workings of ego including how it can be impacting important areas of your life, for better or worse. This will include the discussion of ego as an energy, whose main purpose is to promote our survival. A diverse energy comprised of power, flexibility, and vulnerability, which when healthy and in-balance, can fuel the formation of healthy thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, by us, enhancing our management of life’s challenges while promoting greater living! Challenges such as relationships with our family, friends, God, and even ourselves. As well as, achieving our potential, coming to know a greater sense of meaning and purpose to our lives, experiencing genuine happiness, and being the Love, Life, and Energy—God Is, within our life.
Alternatively, the role of unhealthy, imbalanced ego energy will be considered and how it can create distance from our human and spiritual wellness. Distance manifested in ego rooted, non-reality based thoughts, feelings and behaviors, reflective of ego stupidity, occurring in many important areas of our life. Having nothing to do with our intelligence, spirituality, or the presence of mental illness.
Dr. Nick will also discuss a means to healing ourselves where needed, humanly and spiritually, with the use of ego medicine. A means to healing ourselves, by ourselves, from within. So, we can get on with living the great life we are meant to live!
