Josef Hamr is a retired biology professor from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario. Josef has a rich history of working with large mammals internationally throughout his career. On this episode we chat about Ontario's elk reintroduction project that Josef led, elk behaviour, food sources, predation and much more. We also chat about the history of elk in North America and how the species arrived here.
